Today, I had the honour and dual privilege of representing Mr. Michael Dare Oluwatuyi, Immediate Past President of the Booksellers Association of Nigeria (BAN) and current Chairman of the Nigerian Book Fair Trust (NBFT). I also had the privilege of speaking in my capacity as the Managing Director of Fortham Publishers at the official flag-off of Abuja Book City 2025—a visionary one-year, non-stop reading campaign.
We pledged our unwavering support to this noble cause, as promoting a vibrant reading culture lies at the core of what we do at Fortham Publishers. We are now proud partners of the Network of Book Clubs and Reading Culture Promoters in Nigeria (NBRP)—a powerful coalition of book clubs committed to national transformation through reading.
